What It's Like To Write For The Internet →
Last week, 1,000 people commented that I was a douchebag for insulting their use of “TL;DR,” generating me close to a million page views. This week 70 people call me a genius for sexualizing cthulhu, ultimately generating 200,000 page views.
That’s pretty much the internet in a nut shell.
Greatest comment ever
wow, this article just kind of sucked, and Hard. I love the internet stuff, but this is just idiotic. Not only do you manage to insult the only people who would actually bother to read your article(the artistically unenlightened) but also manage to give off a feeling of superiority by the assumed lack of your use of these expressions. Now lets see if we cant come up with a rational and ...

Glorious! These comments are glorious! →
My favorite ones are those that assume an elevated tone to go toe to toe with me (assuming I was insulting them personally in the first place) and spew forth nonsense. I’m gonna have to get over my hatred of being misunderstood.

New Column on Cracked This Saturday
I’m sure Jack will use his titling prowess to improve on this, but it’s presently called “5 Cliches You Should Use If You Want Me To Murder You.”
Internet Apocalypse the following week.
Anonymous asked: So good sir, while I do enjoy your current works, I would like to ask if there is any chance of a HBN revival in the future?
Anonymous asked: Gladstone, how come you're so funny?
Anonymous asked: your grainy photo is hot. can we "do it?"
aliseinwonderland asked: Hey you.
I love reading the notes from internet apocalypse, but was sad to see the end of HBN. Finally got my husband to watch the blackeyedpeas episode.
He pissed himself laughing. He is now going through all of 'em.
Hope you are getting royalties off of that :)
Keep posting, 'cause we will keep reading.

Why I Wasn't At SXSW
Many have asked why I wasn’t at Cracked’s SXSW performance. The answer is simple: anti-semitism.
Killing people with bricks
So as those of you who don’t suck know, I do Twitter. Anyway, yesterday I did a series of tweets about murdering men, women, and children with a brick. And someone legitimately castigated me for violence against women. Apparently, its still ok to kill men and children with bricks.

You can start to see more what this would be like as a novel. Also Randall helped me nail one of my favorite jokes ever.
Cody, cody, cody... →
Once again, I can’t FULLY enjoy something Cody’s done because I wasn’t hip enough to first be familiar with what’s being mocked. But once again, I laugh my ass off anyway.

Norm MacDonald At His Best →
Norm MacDonald was a huge influence on Hate By Numbers. Also, I pretty much ripped this bit off with my column on Chandra Levy two years ago. I love him.
New Installment of Notes from the Internet...
How many days? I don’t know, but I think its the best of the first four. 4 Chan unplugged. And if you haven’t been following my new narrative fiction serial on Cracked, please fix that.
